Pregnancy update: 14 weeks
The weeks are flying by! Every day I can feel the bond with my baby increasing in strength. During my first trimester there were times when it was easy to forget for a moment (or a couple hours) that I was pregnant. However, now it has become more of a full-time job. When I look in the mirror, the woman looking back me is definitely pregnant. My pre-pregnancy clothes are too tight or short to wear comfortably and I am beginning to fit into more... Read More
Prenatal Fitness
During my first trimester I experienced quiet a bit of fatigue and nausea which significantly impacted my energy level. I was determined to keep working out, so I decided to pick up a few prenatal fitness DVDs to keep myself motivated and my workouts first trimester appropriate. Everything looked (and tasted) good going into the oven; however, a quarter of the way into the cooking time I could smell something funny... Read More

I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to share an experiment that we conducted last year as a family that was not only fun, but I am sure will become a family tradition. Two... Read More

Welcome to the last week of the first trimester! I would like to put together an update of my first trimester soon, I just need to find the time to sort through all of our pics and find good belly shots to share, as I didn’t start taking purposeful pics of my belly until this week. This week I can feel my energy levels increasing and nausea subsiding. We spent part of week 13 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, visiting my mother- and father-in-law, who... Read More
Letting the Cat Outta The Bag
I have to be honest with you, for the last three months I have been keeping a secret from you. It’s a teeny-tiny secret that I have been dying to share, but haven’t quite found the exact words to tell you until now. I honestly have been ready to tell you for a couple weeks, but have been procrastinating in hopes of finding the perfect way to break the news, as my fellow bloggers have all found such unique ways to let you their little secrets....
