We love composting. We love it so much that I made a short little video all about how much we love it. π
Here are a few links that I found to be extremely helpful when I started backyard composting:
Reduce.org has a great section dedicated to composting. This was super helpful at dispelling composting myths while proving composting can be easy.
The City of Minneapolis has a good explanation of how to add ingredients to your compost bin and create compost lasagna.
Vermicomposting, aka composting with worms, is great for people who do not have space for a large compost bin.
Backyard composting 101, a down and dirty explanation of the composting process.
A list of what you can and cannot add to a backyard compost bin. Please note the list of items that your local curbside collection accepts may differ from this list.

Hi Maria. Have been following your blog for quite a while and was always hoping you would someday do a video so I could hear your voice. I guess because I see your pictures all the time and read all your words that I felt I was getting to know you so needed to hear your voice. It was a nice surprise today to have a video, hopefully there will be more.
