It’s been a while since I have talked about my fitness routine. Two months ago I decided to take some time off from heavy weightlifting and The Female Body Breakthrough. I have primarily been lifting heavy since I had Matthew and was feeling bored with my heavy lifting routine.
Aside from yoga videos, I had never really used workout DVDs and thought that it might be a nice change of pace to have someone else telling me what to do for once. So far I have tried a few Jackie Warner DVDs (Xtreme Timesaver Training, Power Circuit Training and One on One Training) and a couple Jillian Michaels DVDs (Yoga Meltdown and Shred-It With Weights) and am loving them. However, I longed for greater variety in my workouts.
I considered trying a Beachbody system like Insanity or P90X, but was deterred by the cost ($100+) and the time commitment (each video is approximately 1 hour long). Enter the Supreme 90 Day program. Yes, I know it is an As Seen On TV workout program that promises extreme results in 30 minutes per day. However, I had heard LOTS of great things about this DVD series on the old Tosca Reno forum, plus the nutrition program that is included was developed by Tosca Reno! I thought for the small price tag ($9.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond) that it was worth trying.
The DVD set came in the mail yesterday and I am going to try it out right after I press publish on this post. I will check back after I have tried a few of the workouts to let you know what I think.
Wish me luck!

Your workout plan sounds fabulous. I often want variety too. I bought Beach Body…so not worth the $90.00. I love my cable company’s on-demand workouts. I have hundreds to choose from. Tons of different styles, instructors, and best of all, you can choose the video based on how much time you have. Good Luck with your continued success.
