I hope that you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Matthew and I have been hard at work prepping for the Thanksgiving Feast we are hosting on Thursday. Yesterday I did the grocery shopping – I lugged home 8 bags full of goodies for both Thanksgiving and Christmas cookies. All of the organic baking stuff was on sale (and had coupons!) at Valley Natural Foods, so I stocked up. We are good to go for the Holiday season!
My mom is picking up the turkey tomorrow morning on her way to our house to help me with the preparations and I have no clue where I am going to put it – the fridge is full! Looks like Mom might be bringing home some of the Thanksgiving side dishes to refrigerate at her house overnight. 🙂
In other news, Matthew had his 18 month well visit this morning and he is thriving! He weighed in at 25 lbs (47th percentile) and is 34″ tall (87th percentile). His spoon and fork skills are improving tremendously and he has been feeding himself oatmeal for breakfast. I am so proud of him!
Here is a short video that I took yesterday morning after breakfast. Isn’t he cute?

Happy Thanksgiving!
Matthew has grown into a little boy! He’s too cute:) Good thing he gets to eat himself (not being fed) the more he gets to do on his own, the more independent he will be (in a good way;)
