What did you have for breakfast this morning? We had Kefir French Toast with homemade gluten-free bread. It was so delicious and simple! Why don’t I make this recipe more often?

My best friend, Melissa, and I are reading and discussing Lord, I Want to Know You by Kay Arthur, a devotional study on the names of the Lord. Today I spent Matthew’s nap time catching up on my reading for our planned phone conversation tomorrow afternoon. I felt the following verse speak to me in a very special way and wanted to share it with you:
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
try me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there be any hurtful [wicked] way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way.
Psalm 139:23-24
In this same chapter Kay asks, Where do people turn when they need healing? Isn’t it usually to other people? And when people turn to you for help, how do you deal with them? Your answer is essential. It could make the difference between life and death, physically and/or spiritually. It could also make the difference between oppression and bondage, peace and freedom.
On a similar note, I read this extremely inspiring post at Passionate Homemaking that you should also check out.
Have a blessed evening!
