Our breakfasts this week have been a collection of simple favorites that can be preprepped the night before and quickly assembled and/or cooked in the morning.
eggs over easy
rolled oats topped with bananas
apple cider vinegar + water to detoxify and help to cure the small head cold that matthew shared with allan and me
iced americano with a splash of unsweetened almond milk
eggs à la Ashley… in a preheated pan, smeared, covered with foil, cooked until set; alongside fresh blueberries and a slice of toast
a revamped old favorite
new & improved mmm overnight oats
1/2 c rolled oats
1 tbsp buckwheat groats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
dash sea salt
1/2 c yogurt or kefir
1/2 c + 2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate covered overnight.
In the morning top with fruit, nut butter, granola, etc.
