On a hot, slightly rainy Saturday, we stopped at the (new to us) Fulton farmer’s market. The Fulton farmer’s market is a newly formed market and is the sister market to our fave Sunday market. This was our very first visit and I was very impressed by the selection at such a small market. We will definitely be back in the future.
Allan was loving on the market design.
Allan enjoyed this bacon and cheese biscuit from Sun Street Breads.
Look what I found!!!
I about fell over when we found two pints of gooseberries! For those of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook, you probably saw me pleading for gooseberries last week. I have two pints of them in the fridge right now and plan to bake something wonderful! My mom mentioned that my Great-Grandmother used to make gooseberry kuchen. I have never had a kuchen, but I might change that this week.
The second best surprise of the day: Patisserie 46, our favorite bakery, was there!
Bag full of goodies!
Blueberry muffin that I split with Matthew.
Peasant bread that I just enjoyed lightly toasted with a thin coat of peanut butter.
I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect market experience…. aside from some sun and highs in the upper 70’s. 😉
How was your weekend?
