Today was a most beautiful day. Matthew and I enjoyed a mid-morning walk along the creek and then ventured back home to work on packing for our weekend away at the Peters family rustic cabin. And by rustic I mean no running water, no oven and an outhouse. π So, this morning we had laundry to do, lists to make and food to prep.
Then this the afternoon I took a nice walk around Lake of the Isles with a new friend, while my mom read Your Best Body Now and Matthew napped.
After my walk Matthew, Mom and I ventured to the Eagan Market Fest, which is one of my favorite, small farmer’s markets. Here are a couple pics of the market.
While snacking on a slice of apple crunch bread we picked up a loaf of Great Harvest High 5 Fiber bread for the cabin along with one bunch of kale and two bunches of swiss chard. I am hoping that I have enough time tomorrow to make sea salt and vinegar kale and chard chips for the car ride up.
Have an amazing Fourth of July weekend celebrating with your family and friends. It is my hope that I will continue to blog through the weekend on my iPhone and iPad.
Talk to you soon!
